We are an active provider of work experience places to local students and, on a number of occasions, this has led to permanent trainee positions. Currently we have one apprentice employed with us.

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Process Engineer to join our company.
This role sits within our experienced Process Engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work on many different aspects of the project timeline from enquiry management and concept development; to detailed process design; through to providing support during the build and commissioning phases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with the company’s health and safety, environmental and quality management systems
- Undertake conceptual design work and the preparation of cost estimates for proposals to prospective and existing clients
- Work on live projects alongside mechanical, electrical and project engineers in multi-disciplinary project teams
- Conduct detailed process design work, specifying equipment & instrumentation and drawing up control philosophies
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Build effective relationships with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related subject
- Relevant industrial work experience would be a distinct advantage
- Affiliate/Associate Membership of IChemE
The role offers a unique breadth of experience, which is ideal for an engineer in the early stages of a career in the process industries.
We would expect you to be a proactive and an enthusiastic engineer, with a “right first time” approach to your work. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word.
