The Fullerene High Pressure Test Cell

Southampton university knew the equipment they needed but was not confident building the kit in-house. Strata was commissioned to interpret their requirements and deliver a solution to their problem - run a reactor at 200 oC full of hydrogen at 850 barG for days on end.

The BP Gas-to-liquid (GTL) Catalysis Rig

Converting Natural Gas to liquid fuels has a long, but quiet, history throughout most of the 20th Century. Recent concerns over dwindling supplies of oil coupled with the desire to bring large Natural Gas reserves to market, Fischer-Tropsch GTL research is making a strong comeback.

Strata Technology is deeply involved in GTL research through its long term relationship with the Gas-to-Products Research group located in BP's Sunbury Research Centre.
