Gas Cylinder Hot Tap Drill

Gas Cylinder Hot Tap Drill

Strata has a well-deserved reputation as an innovator and our Gas Cylinder Hot Tap Drill is a perfect demonstration of this ingenuity. Designed to fit different types and different sizes of cylinders, the drill removes residual gas or liquid from cylinders whose valves have seized shut and is suitable for use with highly corrosive and/or highly toxic chemicals such as Chlorine.

The innovative design of the inner and outer chambers with ‘O’ ring seals ensures integrity is maintained even if the primary chamber seal should fail. The seals can be tailored to ensure suitability for the material to be extracted and the design allows for easy replacement of both the seals and the drill bit between uses.
