Strata is an equipment and service provider to the University, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Alternative Fuels research sectors. We primarily design, build and maintain bespoke Laboratory Equipment and Rigs, and Mini-Pilot Plants. Our customers' research infrastructures are maintained through our calibration and inspection services. We pride ourselves on developing a close working relationship with our customers to help them solve their engineering issues so they can concentrate on developing their cutting-edge technology.

Our niche market is the growth phase from laboratory proof-of-concept to kilogram scale validation. Many processes fail due to underestimating the difficulties in gathering quality data in the 1 to 1000 g development phase.
Our customers are generally in the Oil and Gas industry but the skill set of mechanical engineering, chemistry, and control at temperature and pressure finds applications well outside of this domain.
Due to the nature of bespoke builds, we ensure that safety is paramount in our designs. We maintain an ISO 9001:2000 accredited quality system.
